More than 1,800 exhibitors and over 48,500 attendees are expected to gather in Hong Kong for The 17th edition of Cosmoprof Asia, taking place from November 14 to 16 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. The event will include five product sectors covering the entire spectrum of the beauty industry: Cosmetics & Toiletries (perfumery, cosmetics and toiletries), Pack & OEM (packaging solutions), Beauty Salon, Hair Salon and Natural Health.

The exhibition floor space will increase by 9% over 2011, with the extension into the Grand Hall to accommodate the increasing number of exhibitors in the Beauty Salon sector. Leading to this new area will be the “Grand Hall Avenue”, where the main stage for live events will be located featuring nail competition, product demonstrations by exhibitors offering the latest trends and technique in aesthetic, nail art and professional make up, etc.

Canada and Brazil are the new entries this year joining the other mainstay countries/regions — Australia, Belgium, mainland China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Korea, Pakistan, Poland, Singapore, Spain, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, UK and USA — in forming national pavilions. Also, for the 6th consecutive year, Cosmoprof Asia will organize the International Buyer Programme to facilitate contacts between exhibitors and international buyers. The focus countries for the International Buyer Programme in 2012 will be Australia, China, India, Japan, New Zealand and Russia. For updated details of the fair, please visit www.cosmoprof-asia.com
